I think that what you published made a great deal of sense. However, what about this? what if you wrote a catchier post title? I am not saying your content is not good., but suppose you added something that makes people want more? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda plain. You should look at Yahoo's home page and see how they create news titles to grab people interested. You might add a video or a picture or two to grab people interested about what you've written. In my opinion, it might bring your posts a little livelier.
