I believe what you published made a ton of sense. But, consider this, what if you wrote a catchier post title? I mean, I don't want to tell you how to run your blog, but what if you added a title to possibly grab people's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda boring. You could look at Yahoo's home page and see how they write news headlines to grab viewers to open the links. You might add a related video or a related picture or two to get readers interested about what you've got to say. Just my opinion, it might bring your website a little bit more interesting.
